Ronald Burt, Toward a Structural Theory of Action (New York: Academic Press, 1982), chap. Peter Marsden, "Introducing Influence Processes into a System of Collective Decisions," American Journal of Sociology , vol. 86, no. 6 (May 1981), pp. 1203–1235; Peter Marsden, "Restricted Access in Networks and Models of Power," American Journal of Sociology , vol. 88, no. 4 (1983), pp. 686–717.
