This contribution starts with the following question: How has sociology in Morocco approached the question of gender? And what are the most important transformations that characterize this approach? The author tries to address this problem through a documentary-historical approach by reading and using the relevant sociological and historical literature while adopting a comparative vision between the question of gender as it developed in sociology in general and in Moroccan sociology in particular.
