الملخص

تهتم هذه الدراسة ببحث العلاقات السعودية - الأميركية منذ وصول الرئيس الأميركي، دونالد ترامب، إلى سدة الحكم في البيت الأبيض، وصعود محمد بن سلمان إلى ولاية العهد السعودي. وتركز الدراسة في تحليلها للسياسات على دور الفرد فيها، من خلال تحليل العلاقات الشخصية بين ترامب ومحمد بن سلمان ودورها في الانتقال بالعلاقات بين البلدين من كونها علاقات استراتيجية خاصة إلى علاقات خاصة شبه شخصية، وهو ما قد ينتج منه تبعات شديدة الخطورة تتخطى توازنات الداخل السعودي واستقراره من ناحية، واستقرار مصالح واشنطن في الشرق الأوسط وتغيرها من ناحية أخرى. وتهدف الدراسة إلى البحث في طبيعة علاقات التحالف بين الرياض وواشنطن، وهي علاقات أسس لها عام 1945 باستمرارية وثبات، على الرغم من تعرضها لأزمات كبرى.
