عن السياسة والسياسي والنظرية: تأملات في السجال بين المنهج والنظرية في وظيفة العلوم السياسية

الملخص

تعرض الدراسة لإشكالات التسييس البنيوي في المعالجات السياسية، وخطر تحوّل السجالات المنهجية إلى مواجهات سياسية، وهو وضع تكرر في السجال المستمر بين دعاة العلموية وخصومهم. وبيّنت الدراسة أن لزوم البعد السياسي، و/ أو التوابع السياسية لكل تناول "علمي" للسياسة، لا يعني بالضرورة القبول بالتسييس الفج. فمن الممكن الاعتراف بالمحتوى السياسي للمعالجة من دون الانزلاق نحو التسييس. من هذا المنطلق، لا يمكن انتقاد التسييس الكامن أو البنيوي، كما في نقد إدوارد سعيد الاستشراق والمركزية الغربية، أن يقارن بالتسييس الفج لأنصار إسرائيل في معركتهم لإخضاع دراسات الشرق الأوسط الأميركية لمصالح إسرائيل واليمين المتطرف. ومن المنطلق نفسه، تتناول الدراسة نقديًا الرأي الذي يسم "دراسات المناطق" في العلوم السياسية بالفقر النظري والدونية العلمية، وتميل إلى دعم الرأي القائل إن ما يُسمّى "معالجات نظرية" هي بدورها "دراسات مناطق" تتخذ من الغرب مبتدأ وخبر التجارب السياسية، وتسعى لتعميم تجاربه على شكل "نظريات" ذات صلاحية كونية.
