About the Journal
Siyasat Arabiya is a bi-monthly peer reviewed academic journal published by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (ISSN 2307-1583/E-ISSN 2789-326X) dedicated to political science, international relations, and strategic affairs. The publication began in March 2013 and maintains an academic editorial board alongside international advisers.
The journal accepts contributions spanning all fields of political science including international relations, comparative politics, and national, regional, and international institutional systems. Content addresses political system operations, government and party behavior, civil society participation, public opinion, migration studies, conflict analysis, and human rights issues.
The journal emphasizes the present-day political transition in the Arab world, especially democratization at all political levels and its legal-constitutional and institutional aspects.
The publication leverages the Policy Analysis Unit, Arab Opinion Index (which releases annual public opinion reports), and maintains connections with the Doha Institute's political science program and the ACRPS Program for Arab Democratization study.
