Abstract

This book by Mohammed Jabbar Ibrahim al-Jammalis probably the first serious study on the developments of the social and economic structure and its effect on modern Iraqi political thought. The author proposes a theory suggesting that the internal factors played the larger role in this arena, which is contrary to all the studies and research on the subject focused on the role of external factors.
