“Heidegger’s Philosophy” by Françoise Dastur
Keywords:
Heidegger, Being, Time, Dasein,, AvenuesAbstract
A few days before his death, Heidegger chose the following expression as the best testimony to all his works: "Avenues, not compositions." By this he wanted to indicate to his future readers that his thought could not be reduced to a series of questions or propositions, and that this thought, in its interrogative aspect, retains the nature of avenues that do not lead to another place.
