Lisan ad-Din ibn al-Khatib’s Epistle on Politics and Authority

Among the new books that have strengthened the shelves of the Arab historical library is Politics and authority for Lisan ad-Din ibn al-Khatib through his epistle 'On the State and Fate of Servants of the State .' Authors Mohamed al-Baraka and Said Benhamada divide the book into two major parts. The first deals with the political experience of Ibn al-Khatib between education and practice in four chapters. The second addresses the study of the subject of politics and authority for Lisan ad-Din Ibn al-Khatib as found in two epistles attributed to him, which the authors deal with in two independent chapters. The book has a number of appendixes, a bibliography, list of sources, and a subject index.
