في نهاية عام 2022، أصدرت مؤسسة أكسفورد إنسايتس النسخة السادسة من تقرير مؤشر استعداد الحكومة للذكاء الاصطناعي، الذي تصدره على نحو دوري منذ عام 2017. يرصد التقرير أوضاع الحكومات على مسار الاستعداد للذكاء الاصطناعي في أكثر من 180 دولة حول العالم. وهو يكثّف النظر في محاور ثلاثة، أولها محور الحكومة، الذي يُعني بفحص مدى امتلاك الحكومة لرؤية واضحة عن كيفية استيعاب الذكاء الاصطناعي وتشغيله، ومدى عنايتها بإصدار القواعد التنظيمية والضوابط الأخلاقية المعززة لاستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي على نحو آمن وموثوق. أما المحور الثاني فهو محور قطاع الأعمال، الذي ينظر في تأهّب هذا القطاع، وبخاصة القطاع التكنولوجي، للذكاء الاصطناعي، ومدى استعداد شركاته لتوفير حاجة الحكومة من التجهيزات والتطبيقات وغير ذلك من موارد تكفل استيعاب تكنولوجيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وتشغيلها. المحور الثالث هو محور المحتوى المعلوماتي المغذّي لنظم الذكاء الاصطناعي، وما يتصل بإعداده وتجهيزه وفق متطلبات أنظمة الذكاء الاصطناعي.
