Abstract

The Global Slavery Index is considered one of the most prominent indicators worthy of attention from public policy scholars and officials. The fifth instalment, published in 2023 by Walk Free, is a general assessment of slavery across the world over the past five years. It also features a candid discussion of the policies and procedures necessary to eliminate slavery.
