الملخص

تركز الدراسة على التبعية التجارية للضفة الغربية للاقتصاد الإسرائيلي في ظل نظام الحدود الإسرائيلي، الذي يستند إلى ثلاث طبقاتٍ رئيسة: جدار الفصل، وتجزئة الأراضي الفلسطينية إلى مناطق إدارية متفرقة، وبروتوكول باريس الاقتصادي. وفي حين تنظر معظم الأدبيات السابقة إلى هذا النظام الحدودي عائقًا يحتجز النمو الاقتصادي الفلسطيني ويرهق التاجر الفلسطيني، تقدم هذه الدراسة رؤية أكثر اتساعًا عن طريق استكشاف التفاعلات اليومية بين بنية الحدود وفاعلية الفلسطينيين. وبالاستناد إلى دراسات الحدود، تستعرض الدراسة نظام الحدود الاستعماري باعتباره مساحة تتفاعل فيها أطراف متنوعة، حيث تزدهر تجارة التهريب، وممارسات التحايل، والتعاون غير الرسمي بين الفلسطينيين والإسرائيليين.
