    ​ACRPS has published issue 3 of the bi-monthly peer-reviewed academic journal Siyasat Arabia, a journal devoted to political science and international relations. This issue includes the following studies, articles, and reports: "Reflections on the Political Experience of the Justice and Development Party in Morocco" (Rachid Muqtadir); "Shale Oil in the United States: A Revolution on the Horizon" (Zouheir Hamedi); "Israel and the Horn of Africa" (Mahmoud Muhareb); "The Restructuring of the Yemeni Army" (Adel al-Shargabi); "The Road to Geneva and US Policy Setbacks" (ACRPS Syrian Studies Unit); "Changes in the International System and their Repercussions on the Arab Revolutions" (Nerouz Satik and Ahmad Qasim Hussein); "Egyptian Foreign Policy after the January Revolution" (Amr Abdul Ati); "Illiteracy and its Effect on Voting Behavior in Egypt" (Ahmad al-Maghazi); "Arab Public Opinion Trends Regarding other Arab Peoples and Inter-Arab Relations" (Mohammad al-Masri); and "What did Iraq do to Prevent the Danger of War?" (Naji Sabri). The issue also includes a record of milestones for democratic transition in the Arab world, Palestinian events, and reviews of the following books: The Virtual Public Sphere in the Syrian Revolution, reviewed by Wissam al-Nasir; The Yemeni Revolution: The Background and the Horizons, reviewed by Khalid Walid al-Mahmoud; The Crisis of Rule in Sudan, written by Ata al-Hasan al-Bathani and reviewed by Elnour Hamad; The Question of Syria's Kurds, reviewed by Hamzeh al-Mostafa; and Energy and its Influence on Russian Foreign Policy, reviewed by Zouheir Hamedi.

    ACRPS has published the second issue of the journal Siyasat Arabia under the managing editorship of Dr. Azmi Bishara. This issue contains a number of monographs, research papers, book reviews, opinion polls, and studies, comprising: "The European Union and the Arab Spring," (Bichara Khader); "Islamists and the Challenges Posed by Popular Support in Egypt," (Marwa Fikri); "The Israeli Knesset Elections," (Muhannad Mustafa); "Syria's Armed Opposition: Clarity of Objective and Lack of Vision," (Marwan Kabalan); "Israel's Policy of Nuclear Ambiguity," (Mahmoud Muhareb); "The Justice and Development Party's Experience of Government in Morocco," (Mohammed Bacik Manar); "Iraq: Protests and the Regime's Political Crisis," (Yahya al-Kubaisi); and "The Syrian Revolution: The First Days," (Fawaz Haddad). The book reviews featured in the second issue include: The Secession of South Sudan: Risks and Opportunities, reviewed by Ahmad Abu Shouk; The Islamist Solution in Jordan, reviewed by Khaled Walid Mahmoud; The Syrian Crisis: The Social and Economic Roots and Impacts, reviewed by Ali Abdelqadir; and A Nation in Arms: The Rise and Fall of the Israeli Military Reserves, reviewed by Mahmoud Muhareb. In addition, this issue includes a survey of the turning points in the path to democratization in the Arab Homeland, an appraisal of Palestinian affairs, and trends in Arab public opinion on the Arab revolutions (Mohammed al-Masri), which is a review of the Arab Opinion Index produced annually by the ACRPS on Arab opinion on specific issues.

The issue includes the following monographs and articles: “The Arab Regional Order: The Strategy of Penetration and Reformulation” (Walid Abdulhay); “Israel and Geo-Strategic Changes” (Mahmoud Muhareb); “US Goals and Strategy in the Arab World” (Marwan Bishara); “Sudan and Iran: Journey of Rapprochement” (Elnour Hamad); “The Ruling Troika in Tunisia” (Aicha El-Tayeb); “The Egyptian Presidency after Mubarak” (Bashir AbdelFattah); “The Iranian Presidency in light of the Experience of Ahmadinejad” (Rachid Yalouh); “The Geopolitical Effects of Israeli Gas Discoveries in the East Mediterranean” (Zouheir Hamedi); and “Trends in Public Opinion in the Mashreq on the Syrian crisis” (Mohammed al-Masri). There are also a number of book reviews of important works on Arab world affairs.The issue also includes “Palestinian Developments 2012” and “Milestones of Democratic Transformation in the Arab countries 2012” as well as a report on the First Annual Conference of Political and Strategic Research Centers in the Arab World held by ACRPS in Doha from December 15-17, 2012.​
