​ACRPS has published issue 4 of the bi-monthly peer-reviewed academic journal Siyasat Arabia, a journal devoted to political science and international relations. This edition features a special focus on Egyptian affairs given the continuous political developments in Egypt after June 30. There are reviews of the following books: Class Conflict in Contemporary Egypt, reviewed by Nerouz Satik; How and When I Stopped Being Jewish, written by Shlomo Sand, now translated into Arabic, reviewed by Mahmoud Muhareb; January 25: Testimonies and Studies reviewed by Khaled Walid Mahmoud; and The Revenge of Geography reviewed by Suhaim Al Thani. The journal also chronicles the most significant milestones of democratic transition in the Arab world, particularly in Egypt, summarizing the Human Rights Watch report on the crackdown on the Rabiaa al-Adawiya Square sit-in, and presents the latest Palestinian developments over recent months.
