The ACRPS has published the 38th issue of the bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal Siyasat Arabiya, covering political sciences and international relations. This issue includes: “Remarks on External Factors in Democratic Transition” by Azmi Bishara; “Realist Theory in the Face of International Unipolarity” by Ali Jarbawi and Lourdes Habash; “Challenges and Opportunities for Refugees in Host Countries: Jordan as a Case Study” by Ghassan Elkahlout; “Youth and Politics: The Decline of Party Membership in Moroccan society” by Abdelkader Boutaleb and “Media and Power: A New Conceptual Approach, "Le Journal" as a Case Study” by Mehdi K. Benslimane. The issue also includes a review by Chamseddin Alkilani of Faleh A. Jaba ‘s The Caliphate State: Advancing Towards the Past – ISIL and the Local Community in Iraq as well as Marwa Fekry’s review of Ibrahim Frehat’s Incomplete Reconciliation: Critical Review 128 of "Unfinished Revolutions: Yemen, Libya, and Tunisia after the Arab Spring. The Arab Opinion Index section features a paper prepared by Dana El Kurd on “Evaluating the Strength of Legislative Bodies in Jordan, Kuwait and Morocco and their Image in Public Opinion” in addition to documenting the most important " Milestones in Democratic Transition in the Arab World" and "Palestine over two Months" in the period 1/1/2019 28/2/2019. This edition also includes Ihab Maharmeh’s report on “The Two Protest Movements in Sudan and Algeria and Prospects for Democratic Change” The journal is available for purchase and selected articles are free to download at the Siyasat Arabiya website.Table of Contents
