The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published the 72nd issue of Siyasat Arabiya, a bimonthly peer-reviewed journal of political science and international relations. This issue contains the following articles: “Transnational Activism and the Evolution of Human Rights in Post-2013 Coup Egypt" by Moataz El Fegiery; “Above the Hierarchy: The Legal Status of the Palestinian Declaration of Independence in Light of the Constitutional Court's Political Role" by Rashad Twam and MahmoudAbu Sway; “Political Transition in Syria: Challenges and Perspectives for State Building and Political Institutional Reform" by Emad Alali; “China and Its Foreign Relations through the Lens of Its Strategic Culture: The Case of Sino-Qatari Relations (1988–2024)" by Mohamed Mesfer; “Paradiplomacy and State's Foreign Function: Adaptation or Restructuring?" by Inass Abdulsada Ali and Hayder Sabah Kadhim. The translation section includes Alexander Wendt's “The Agent-Structure Problem in International Relations Theory" by Ahmed Qasem Hussein. This issue also documents key events in the democratic transition in the Arab world and Palestine over the two-month period from 1 November to 31 December 2024.
