​ACRPS has published issue 17 of the bi-monthly peer-reviewed academic journal Siyasat Arabia, a journal devoted to political science and international relations. This edition focuses on developments in the Turkish arena and the effects of Turkish policy in Syria internally and externally. Robinson; Tamir Badawi’s review of Iran's Political Economy since the Revolution by Suzanne Maloney; and Elnour Hamad’s review of the report The Arab-U.S. Strategic Partnership and the Changing Security Balance in the Gulf by Anthony Cordesman. The issue also includes reports on conferences and seminars held by ACRPS: a report prepared by Kamel Terchi on the conference “Violence and Politics in Contemporary Arab Societies”; a report prepared by Hamzeh al-Mustafa on the symposium “Russian Military Intervention in Syria: Motives, Goals, Implications”; and a report prepared by Samir Saifan on the symposium “The Implications of a Long-Term Drop in Oil Prices on Oil Exporting States”. The journal also includes the most important milestones of democratic transformation in the Arab world and events in Palestine during September and October 2015.
