The ACRPS has published the 36th issue of the bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal Siyasat Arabiya, covering political sciences and international relations. This issue includes a special session on External Factors and Democratic Transition. The articles in this edition are:  "External Factors and Arab Revolutions: Four Research Questions" by Abdel-Fattah Mady; "Authoritarian Regional Powers and Containing Democratic Transition: Saudi Arabia and Russia" by Marwa Fekry; "The Saudi and Iranian Roles in Yemen and their Impact on Political Transition" by Ahmed Idali; "The Role of External Forces in the Political Process:  Libya after the Skhirat Agreement" by Ahmed Qassem Hussein; "The European Union and the Conditionality of Democracy: the Post-Arab Spring Case" by Mohamed Saadi; "US Aid and Post-2011 Democratic Transition in Egypt: A Critical Review" by Alaa Bayoumi .Book Reviews include Amitav Acharya's The End of American World Order and John Ikenberry's Liberal Leviathan: The Origins, Crisis, and Transformation of the American World Order, both reviewed by Amina Mostefa Della. A third review of Palestine Internationally: Rise of the Right Wing in the World and Re-examining the Challenges by Jamil Hilal, Munir Fakhr Eldin and Khaled Faraj is offered by Ihab Mharmeh. This issue also includes an article on the Arab Opinion Index examining "Arab Public Opinion Trends on the Role of the External Factor in Democratic Transition" by the Public Opinion Polling Unit.
