The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies and Doha Institute for Graduate Studies have published the 47th issue of the bimonthly peer-reviewed political science and international relations journal Siyasat Arabiya. This issue includes: " Why Transitional Justice Needs to be Conceptualised in Arab States Theoretically as Well as Empirically?" by Jeremy Sarkin; " Reconciliation and Truth in South Africa: An Examination of Transitional Justice Achievements and Impasses" by Ahmed Idali; " The Transitional Justice Predicament in Tunisia" by Chaker Houki; "Faltering Steps of Transitional Justice and the Fragility of Democratic Transition in Morocco" by Nabil Zegaoui; and "Transitional Justice in Libya: In Real Terms, Useless Statutes?" by Mahmoud Hamad. The issue includes a paper on the Arab Opinion Index by Mehran Kamrava and Hamideh Dorzadeh, "Arab Opinion Toward Iran 2019/ 2020". Also included in this issue is a translation of Theda Skocpol's " Bringing the State Back in: Strategies of Analysis in Current Research" by Ali Hakim Salih. This is followed by the documentation of Milestones in Democratic Transition in the Arab World and Palestine over two months, 1/9/2020 - 31/10/2020, along with select Documents of Democratic Transition in the Arab World. The issue ends with reviews of Hamid Dabashi's Europe and its Coloniality after Empire by Mekia Nedjar and Carl Minzner's End of an Era: How China's Authoritarian Revival is Undermining its Rise by Hikmat al-Abd al-Rahman.
